Brampton Bike Hub and BikeBrampton work together, providing educational workshops to Bramptonians while also pushing for legislative change. In my volunteer admin role, I use MS Office and Canva to help plan events that will increase bicycle modal shore. I am currently assisting with background research, location procurement, construction scheduling and design for our upcoming brick-and-mortar location in Downtown Brampton. Aside from that I also:• Research grants and funding opportunities for the Brampton Bike Hub, determine our eligibility, create summary reports and draft up applications – having located around 5 new sources of revenue• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, city staff and partnering organizations, transcribing notes to log the information • Create marketing materials, data-entry spreadsheets and documents summarizing research for the planned Downtown Brampton BikeHub

During my internship I worked on the 81 Bay Street project, which included CIBC's new headquarters "CIBC Square", the new downtown GO Bus Terminal and an elevated park over the Union Station rail corridor. I spent my time shadowing the PM's responsible for structural work, curtain wall, M&E, finishing trades, office administration, permit acquisition and change management. Due to my attention to detail and quick adaptability , I was kept on the team past my original 4 month placement and was put in charge of coordinating the landscaping trade. Further to that, I performed the following:• I reviewed shop drawings, contract drawings, proposed designs, permit applications, project specifications, legal contracts and site conditions to locate discrepancies and deficiencies for PMs, clients and consultants• Managed the creation, distribution and progress of thousands of RFIs & submittals with Bluebeam, Adobe and Fieldwire• Created & updated logs for site manpower, change orders and occupancy deliverables, hosting meetings when needed
