At BamCore we are green engineering climate-positive building solutions with timber bamboo. The construction industry is responsible for 40% of the CO2 in the atmosphere today. And, we need to build a new New York City every month for 40 years to keep up with global demand. Add a labor and materials shortage, and it was evident that we had to change the method and materials of construction. So, we turned to nature’s strongest and fastest-growing fiber, timber bamboo. We built the first timber bamboo global supply chain. And we patented a green engineered nearly hollow wall framing solution that is faster, stronger, safer, and greener than anything available today. Our technology opens the labor pool and reduces carbon, cost, and time.The BamCore Prime Wall is a viable solution that mitigates the climate crisis, the construction materials crisis, the skilled labor shortage crisis, and global rural poverty. Using timber bamboo with industrialized construction techniques, our patented prefabricated framing solution arrives at the job site with every door, window, outlet, and access panel cut to millimeter accuracy. Each panel is numbered with MEP lines and a nail pattern for quick and easy construction that doesn’t require skilled labor. Our solution reduces rework waste, cuts construction time in half, and is stronger, safer, greener than any other framing solution available today.The sustainable cultivating of timber bamboo on marginal lands provides a healthy income in poverty-stricken global areas. In addition, a single clump of bamboo can capture 1.78 tons of CO2/year, faster than any other natural resource. And, the more bamboo is harvested, the faster it grows, and the more CO2 it captures. Further, the BamCore nearly hollow wall design enjoys a superior thermal envelope, drastically reducing operating energy.
