Murata Energy Solutions Americas, a subsidiary of Murata Electronics North America, Inc., delivers end-to-end solutions, combining Murata’s wireless IoT hardware with cloud-based software for the Energy market.During my time at Murata, I was responsible for all software development activities for internal Murata opportunities as well as external clients. I oversaw global business development operations in newly defined strategic sectors including Energy (where I introduced two new vertical applications), Healthcare, and Automotive industries. I grew the software team to include multiple core product groups featuring: Core Platform; Tools and Frameworks; UI/UX Design; Web / Mobile application development.I managed the productization of core IoT platform and public API directing product managers on development backlog, utilizing Machine Learning and advanced Data Analytics to optimize performance of key vertical applications.I’m a member of the management team driving corporate strategy and implementation of quarterly OKR's. I’ve worked with senior executives and product managers inside other global groups to define POC engagements and am responsible for on time delivery of POC's through General Availability.I created professional development plans and a training platform for international teams, crafted evaluation programs and training documentation to monitor on-boarding, and coached new hires & vendors.

Vedero was a software company focused on building to Smart Grid energy analytics, automation and instrumentation of BAS/BCS systems. These were early days in the IOT market and we were able to truly make an impact during emergency situations and blackouts, while reducing power consumption for Government agencies, Educational Institutions and Hospitals in deregulated states.I co-Founded & built the software company from the ground up, managing all aspects of the technological side including software development, product development, process optimization, and implementation. I was the technical lead for M&A of software platform with hardware components, acquired to jumpstart initial POC. I defined technology and product GTM strategy and activities - set optimal price points to maximize revenue, provided sales enablement & deal support, and crafted market & product documentation.I actively participated in the Seed Round, Series A & B fundraising activities with the CEO, raising over $6M. Murata Electronics had a strategic investment in Vedero and we were able to expand our hardware capability through them. They acquired us to kickstart their energy group and created a separate subsidiary for our solution - Murata Energy Solutions Americas. I was a member of the leadership team negotiating acquisition by Murata Electronics North America where I led internal due diligence discoveries regarding technical and IP to ensure transparent and smooth M&A.

When the dot.coms started taking off, I was working with a company selling to large Enterprises. When they exited, I started my own company, E-Centric, with one of the heads of sales from my previous employer. E-Centric was acquired 10 years after I started it.I led all aspects of technology vision, software product development, business development, sales, support and created strategic partnerships with leading enterprises becoming their go-to network solutions provider. I rapidly grew our team from 2 founders to 11 employees - including 9 in-house software developers – and managed several remote employees, vendors and resources on a per-project basis.I reviewed all development projects to ensure reliability, effectiveness and ROI, developing all implementation processes, including estimation, staffing, training and post-implementation support. I was also responsible for maintaining service level agreements (over $100K contracts) with clients as well as creating and maintaining disaster recovery plans for all enterprise software solutions. I performed analysis and provided written proposals for clients including testing, recommendations and implementations of new technologies solving critical business problems. I was the lead architect on the team that developed a mobile field service automation solution, reporting interface, web based vendor portal, and support tools for Fortune 500 Companies (Target, Office Depot, etc.). This application is used by over 2500+ associates in US stores for real-time deployment and management of field service teams reducing errors, increasing efficiency, and providing a 50% reduction in payment time
