Being an empathetic person, I tend to read people and their moods through observation and use this in my daily interactions.The inside customers are what I love to serve - the people we work with, because we are all in it together to accomplish a goal, despite all of our differences and life struggles. It’s rewarding to see people accomplish goals they didn’t think they could and help them get there.As a highly adept and very quick learner, I am inspired to improve myself professionally and personally; searching out opportunities to learn, shadow, and research on my own time. I do tend to over-extend myself, as I find it hard to say “no”, because another one of my traits is fear of disappointment. While that can be viewed as a negative trait, I have evolved that negative way of thinking into a personal drive to be detailed and do the best that I can for a successful result. I am imperfect, therefore I own my mistakes and learn from them.I multi-task well and am very organized. I cannot work in chaotic situations, so I find I am the one to organize and clean up and start fresh, which reaps great rewards. I also do not like to be barred by time clocks. If I want to work extra time to organize, get a project done, set up for the next day, research, etc., I like to do so beyond work hours and not expect anything in return. It’s just part of my nature to totally embrace my job and it becomes a part of me.After developing my career in the B2B technology field, I stayed home with my children and started/managed my own brick & mortar store for twelve years. It fed my business sense along with my creative soul, but allowed me to also juggle being a dedicated mother. Because I am creative, I am very good at brain-storming and coming up with solutions!Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my busy family when I can, being outside enjoying nature, doing anything creative, and being near any body of water that reflects the sun and moon!
