Direct the Guiding Coalition and Technical Program Committee to set conference themes and speakers, create new programming to meet stakeholder needs, and maintain key relationships with national security, aerospace, and R&D communities. Conduct industry research to keep content relevant and represent AIAA at international conferences, enhancing global presence. Ensure multi-level integration with a varied group of stakeholders.𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒔:▶️ Cultivate strong relationships with key government organizations, including NASA, DARPA, Air Force, and Space Force, as well as the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. Collaborate on program speakers and topics, facilitate communication of new initiatives to members and attendees, and provide general AIAA support. Spearheaded workshops for the Air Force Digital Transformation Office and Space Warfighting Analysis Center, facilitating knowledge exchange and fostering collaboration.▶️ Use technical expertise, understanding of key issues and relationship building to lead DEFENSE Forum’s 73% technical program growth and 98% increase in attendees from 2019 to 2024. Achieved a sold-out status for the first time in 2024.▶️ Nurture relationships with aerospace and adjacent industries with a focus on fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. Expanded SciTech’s technical program 36% and attendance 41% from 2021 to 2024. Increased attendee satisfaction to 87% in2024, up from 75% in 2023. SciTech is now a $4.5 million event and the largest aerospace research and development conference in the world.▶️ Delivered above-budget financial performance for DEFENSE Forum, establishing it as a critical revenue source for AIAA and a recognized technical resource within national security communities.
