Beside my full-time job I am also a part-time on-call firefighter at Surte fire station

As a teamleader my tasks are to lead the daily work as well as improve current and develop new procedures.At the cargo readiness/operations department our job is to make sure that the cargo is ready and OK to load. We make sure that all the documents are in order and keep track on our allocations. We also plan our feeder calls which means that we are managing the berth windows and has contact with planners, the port, agents and the vessels.

My main focus is to optimise the flow of empty containers by arranging empty repositioning within the Scandinavian region (Sweden, Denmark and Norway). Our goal is to be able to give the best service to our customers by making it able for them to book from where they want when they want and at the same time keep the cost and turnaround time as low as possible. In addition I am also working with intermodal transports and vessel operations.

During the last semester I was working extra as a cost controller at CMA CGM Scandinavia AS. This position later became a full time position leading to my current job at the logistics department. My tasks was to check the accuracy of the invoices and make sure that we were being charged for what we had ordered. After that I booked the invoices according the company's procedures. During my time at the cost control department I was also involved in the outsourcing process to India were parts of the cost control department is located today.

During my studies I was a Trainee and a summer temp at Hecksher Linjeagenturer AB. I worked as a Freight forwarder within the Airfreight department and I was handling the Export shipments. I had contact with both customers and suppliers and was the person with the control of the shipments. I also got knowledge in customs declarations, transports and with the tasks related to import shipments.
