Tobias Wengerd is the owner of Heritage Leathers USA. He was born and raised amish in Northwestern PA and spent most of his time working in his dad’s leather shop till he was 18. Wanting to get out of the shop instead of being cooped up inside, his dad helped him get a job with a local roofing crew. On June 6th 2016 Tobias fell 21 feet from a roof and broke his T11 vertebrae and is paralyzed from the waist down. “I’m just blessed to be alive and thankful to have full use of my upper body” Tobias said “also, I’m glad to be back working with leather and I hope you appreciate the craftsmanship and quality that we put into every product that we offer, My grandpa worked with leather, my Dad worked with leather, it’s in my blood, it’s a tradition”.
