I'm a Manhattan-based, Austrian filmmaker and co-founder of Prodigium Pictures. My best-known work is directing the 2022 HBO Max Docu-Series "Gaming Wall Street".I started out as a visual artist in Austria, and got fascinating with working in film. After a short vis-a-vis encounter with death in 2012, I got the opportunity to really reflect on my purpose, and have since deeply specialized in social impact entertainment and cause marketing.After studying film theory at Berkeley and shooting a few feature films in LA, I was granted the right to work in the US on an "Extraordinary Abilities" Visa. This was followed by directing the marketing launch video for "Ava"​, a disability tech company in San Francisco, which yieled 1 million views, 90k likes and 26,000 shares within 72 hours - all organically.My main pursuit is understanding how advertising and movies influence us - and how this impact can be used effectively and ethically for our clients at Prodigium. Next to the creative side of production, I co-founded the magazine "Cinema of Change"​ where our mission is to connect the entertainment industry with academic research on media impact.During COVID, I've utilized my film production and logistics skills to help coordinate an information network of 100,000+ volunteer PPE makers in 55 countries through OSMS. 15.5 million locally made medical supplies later, lots of lives were saved that way.When there's no pandemic going on, I love meeting people from all over the globe to learn about SBCC (Social Behavior Change Communications), walk in someone else's shoes for a while (i.e. in 2019, I spent 6 months in an indigenous farming village in rural Peru and learned masonry), or unsuccessfully attempt to beat my girlfriend in tennis.
