At the age of 15 I designed a digital mechanic’s level with the goal of simplifying its user-experience through the use of digital technology - and filed my first patent. Ever since then I love building digital products customers love - pioneering new products, business models and innovations primarily within the Apps, Internet and IoT space while making a difference for its users and creating significant value for companies and shareholders.I’m passionate about 1. Designing, building & shipping services & products by tackling hard problems in a lean, agile and design- & hypothesis-driven startup style Some examples were:• Pioneered digital car-subscription service as CPO of Cluno on the trend of subscription economy, resulting in becoming European Market Leader, raising a total of 140m€ in funding and eventually being acquired by cazoo in 2021• Co-Founder and CPO of the world’s first GPS enabled consumer sports-camera system based on the combination of GPS based performance monitors with small Action-Cameras, resulting in acquisition of the company by tomtom in 2013• Co-Founder and CTO of one of the first companies globally to introducing GPS-based sports performance Monitors in 2003, on the availability of low-cost and low-power GPS solutions, resulting in acquisition of the company by Brunswick Corp.Inventor of over 20 patents and patent applications.Frequent guest lecturer at University of St. Gallen in Entrepreneurship.
