One of six executives for the largest student-led social innovation project incubator at U-M.Managed a budget of over $360k, ran a fundraising campaign that raised $63k, facilitated selection pitches for 100+ student-led teams, and funded 36 teams with grants up to $10,000 per project team.Personally responsible for recruiting 50+ experts in their fields to advise on strategy and direction on behalf of 450+ project teams and created a curriculum and executed workshops with topics on visioning, prototyping, budgeting, pitching, and storytelling.

Accelerated U-M’s waste reduction goal of 40% by 2025 by partnering with and deploying targeted waste management programs - primarily composting - into 48 distinct social groups around campus.Engaged over 6,000+ students across the U-M student body by organically introducing low-cost and zero-waste pursuant nudges into residences and common spaces to partnered fraternities, sororities, and co-operative housing units. Protocol adopted by 15 campus organizations with more than 7,500 lbs of waste diverted from landfills.Raised $4,000 in funding and led a team of 6 students by establishing clear objectives with an emphasis on team collaboration.

Trained in University of Michigan campus sustainability goals, their progress on them to date, and how each of us can help contribute to reducing our carbon footprint.

Promoted implementation of renewable energy on campus while providing educational and professional opportunities. Attended weekly meetings with ~50 students to discuss current events, policy, and new developments with renewable energy. Partnered with ~20 R&D students weekly to implement small-scale wind and green roof installations on U-M campus. Benchmarked relative success of solar and wind-powered initiatives at other universities and wrote grants to industry leaders.

Conducted research on 50+ prospective member and sponsorship companies to help ACORE find partnerships that aligned with our mission. Advised Fortune 100 companies on best strategies and practices for meeting and/or creating sustainability goals, through high-impact policy advocacy and engagement in T&M, FASB, and ESG working groups. Added, updated, and tracked member and sponsorship communications through usage of Salesforce and Excel.

Developed programming to address wellness and mental health; including yoga, one-on-one counseling, and wellness tips for 150+ individuals in Delta Tau Delta.

Diverted 1,500+ lbs of waste between August 2020 - April 2021 by switching our kitchenware to 100% compostable material, becoming the first social fraternity to achieve zero-waste meals at the University of Michigan. Integrated social cues and contexts to ease the transition from landfill to compost by generating posters and educating members, and by doing so, building habitual foundations for future members living in the house. Assembled the first sustainability committee at U-M by creating an extensive recruitment and onboarding process of two administrative board members and adding a shadow period, ensuring the success of the program is passed along smoothly.

Tutored one student every Thursday for 40 weeks of the year, assisting him in how to approach school and social problems and helped him gain proficiency in science, math, writing, and reading.

Volunteered at Growing Hope's Urban Farm where I harvested, raked, and planted a variety of seeds in order to resell the fresh produce to the Ypsilanti community.
