I have dedicated two and a half decades to facilitate deaf and disabled people’s equal and active contribution to society. I have a comprehensive understanding of deafness, the deaf community, and disability in terms of sensory considerations, language acquisition, social & emotional development, achieving independence, safeguarding, educational provision, and inclusion in industry. My extensive skills in education and interpreting complement my training in management and leadership. My current role has allowed me to diversify into publicity, marketing, advocacy and fundraising. I am keen to combine these transferable skills in a challenging role which, together with my engaging personality and my determination to make a positive difference, will ensure I am an asset to my next endeavor.
