Tobin Jones is a mixing & recording engineer and producer based in London. He is currently working out of his studio, The Park Studios, London.His dedicated and professional approach is enhanced by a versatility and passion for a variety of genres, providing an eclectic showcase of his engineering talent. He revels in the nuance of sound and finds unique and creative ways to bring out the artist’s aesthetic; using unique analogue, digital and vintage equipment he adds warmth, texture and character.Tobin has worked with many well respected labels such as XL, R&S, Diagonal, Stolen, Transgressive and Hassle in addition to many unique, creative artists such as Powell, Bo Ningen and Gaggle. He actively seeks out artists who are creating something new and different with sound and so pushing boundaries in both art and music. Having worked as a live sound engineer at festivals including Glastonbury and Larmer Tree, Tobin gained his first class degree in Sound Engineering from SAE London. Working at the legendary Metropolis studios Tobin gained valuable experience before becoming an assistant to producer Jim Anderson at Sub Bubble studios where he worked with artists such as Cold Specks and The Twilight Sad. He later became head engineer re-launching Sub Bubble as The Park Studios in 2013 and took over as owner in 2016.
