I am deeply honored and humbled to announce my appointment as the new Managing Partner at Heyl Royster, effective January 1, 2024. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to developing and managing the firm's Toxic Tort Practice Group and served on the firm's Board of Directors since 2020. In 2014, I became the inaugural Office Managing Partner in the Chicago office, where I have played a pivotal role in establishing a strong presence across various practice areas.As a seasoned litigator and counselor, I have focused on product liability defense, with a particular emphasis on cases involving asbestos, talc, diacetyl, benzene, and other toxic tort lawsuits arising from environmental and occupational exposures. My practice was primarily based in the Cook County, IL courts, where I also managed our firm's Chicago office. In this role, I was responsible for recruiting top legal talent, which I undertook with great enthusiasm to enhance client service and further strengthen our firm's 100-plus-year legacy.Since joining Heyl Royster after graduating from law school in 1996, I have enjoyed contributing to the firm's growth and success by expanding our reach and impact to clients within Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin. My background and experiences cover a broad spectrum of civil litigation and risk management, including personal injury tort defense, product liability, professional liability, commercial litigation, employment, health care, and governmental matters. I am licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin and am committed to serving our clients with the highest professionalism and dedication.My dedication to Heyl Royster's mission is unwavering.
