CurrentRespected market analysts The Finance Ghost and Mark Tobin joined forces with investor relations firm Keyter Rech Investor Solutions (“KRIS”) in 2022 to introduce a new knowledge-sharing platform to the South African investment market. Unlock the Stock makes more JSE stock information accessible to private retail investors looking for information. It is the first online platform targeted solely at this group of investors, who rarely, if ever, can engage directly with JSE-listed companies. Providing a unique platform for small- to mid-sized JSE-listed companies in particular, Unlock the Stock allows participating companies to connect directly with private retail investors, with each 45-minute session featuring two stocks.Hosted on Zoom every two weeks, Unlock the Stock introduced another first by allowing private retail investors to choose which of the chat rooms to join for an engaging Q&A session with company management.
