Black people are 3.5% of the Canadian population but make up only 2.6% of the tech workforce, indexing lower than any other ethnicity in Canada. The demand for tech professionals is increasing, and Black tech professionals make up a sector of this industry that is far too small. • Developed an Eclipse plug-in for managing software models. With the plug-in, users can definetheir own model types and relationships (called mappings) between these models• Created an efficient solution used to implement aggregate mappings. Aggregate mappings arerecursive relationships between models and elements in models• Implemented aggregate mappings for the tool using Java reflection and serialization• Developed in Java using Eclipse, Eclipse Graphical Modeling Framework (GMF) and EclipseModeling Framework (EMF)• Created meta-models using UML. The meta-models can be plugged into the tool so that modelscan be created. Relationships between the models can be defined• Reported weekly to the professor with a status report via email.• Wrote a 5-page report on my work.
