Projects:Managed the creation of over thirty new data reports for Prevail’s reinsurance application (PRS) during client’s adoption of same in two different phases, while functioning as the liaison between Prevail and client over multiple workstreams. Analyzed/spec’d client requirements, directed code development and tested all output.Translated the ISO and NCCI reporting needs of client’s Stat department into technical specifications for the WINS developers. Devised test approaches and plans; created test data to fully evaluate effectiveness of programming changes. Demonstrated the potential for decreased amount and severity of relational errors. Formulated WINS queries to research data/reporting issues and flesh out possible solutions. Analyzed NCCI and state bureau error reports for WCPOLS and determined steps to resolve.Designed an IT issue ticketing system to report system problems, and then track evaluation, development and deployment of resolution code. Managed Prevail system builders/developers; tested the application, and over time, actuated a series of system enhancements. Guided implementation of a vendor-sourced replacement to WINS for report creation. Conducted parallel tests on current vs vendor reports, created defect tickets for issues discovered (after considering inhouse adjustments to process and limitations of vendor system), and then retested application after fix deployment.Managed the introduction of an in-house web service for online verification of auto coverage by DC DMV: developed overall structure of service, drafted functional specs, and arranged regular conferences with all invested parties.
