As a staff engineer, I've made key contributions to multiple projects. Some examples are:- industrial (MES) system migration into the new generation of Oracle DBMS and clustering architecture. My job was to assess the general structure of the legacy product (10 years of development, ~5000 (five thousand) Oracle Forms), to coordinate the participating teams (Oracle, network, Linux, storage), and to make key changes to allow the product to run successfully on the upgraded DBMS and be clustered. Successfully drove the project to the end, with the customer fully satisfied. (Oracle Forms, PL SQL, Java, Python.)- development team leadership in a state-level custom development contract. Pinpointed performance problems and led the team through to the release. (Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, performance tools).- development of a proof-of-concept for a new product for cloud automation. The Software solutions division team (with a headcount 200-300) successfully crunched about 40 diverse projects yearly with annual revenue of over US$30M.
