As Deputy Director of IM&T, play a key role in developing and delivering a strategy and vision to ensure that the corporate IT and Telecommunications infrastructure is “fit for purpose” to ensure the operational delivery of effective IT and Information Services for Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust. Lead on key issues of organisational development and strategic leadership, business change, and championing new and transformational ways of working. Ensuring there are plans to enable users to fully maximise the IT systems which are put in place.Responsible for the management of the IM&T Managed Services functions and will lead a dynamic team to ensure that the IM&T service provides effective account management services.Responsible for not only delivering IT systems, but also planning and leading related change programmes in order to enable service transformation, thus maximising the benefits from investment and improving healthcare.

Responsible for technical strategy, management, and development of the IT environment with the Cornwall NHS Community (3 Cornwall NHS Trusts) in support of the local business strategy and that of national and local programmes of work.
