Led staff of 35 engineers to develop high speed satellite ground station products for use in remote sensing and reconnaissance. Products incorporated custom ASICs, PCBs, RTOS integrated into industry standard OEM platforms including VME, Sun, and SGI.

Principal architect / designer on a number Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) that dramatically shrunk the foot print and cost of NASA communication systems. Led development and deployment of these components into ground systems deployed in support of Space Station, Hubble, Earth Observation System, and Small Explorer missions.

Internal R&D group developing prototypes for large bid and proposal efforts. Designed graphic environment for satellite control center. Designed and tested two Gallium Arsenide integrated circuits for high speed communications. Initiated and closed funding for four on-site NASA funded R&D positions.
