A reinsurance company specializing in Home owners insurance in the state of Texas. Responsible for building a new online presence using Zend Framework, jQuery, DB2 on the iSeries (AS400). Project was to replace there RPG/WebSmart platform as the new company platform moving forward. Complete lifecycle management and development with a team of three php developers and 7 RPG developers. Responsible for all aspects of authentication, ACL along with user management and several enhancements and additions to the current feature set.

Small printing company grossing 35 million a year located in fort worth Texas. Responsible for adding and enhancing existing features of their online template system that allows real estate agents to dynamically generate marketing material. Worked with php 5, mysql 5, Doctrine, jquery, prototype and css. Development occurred on all aspects of the web based application. Also responsible for project estimation and life cycle. Dealt directly with the project owners internally. Primary responsibilities include full project life cycle for new features and enhancements. Using MySQL and Postgres as the databases. Responsible for ramping up new developers on a code base that stretched over one million lines of code. Worked closely with marketing and the infrastructure teams to achieve desired goals.

Used mysql as the database along with setting up the development environment using amazons EC Cloud system. Also responsible for working with the flash developer and the designer on getting various flash movies and overall site template integrated. Reported directly to the VP of production. Developed online Community using Drupal with MySQL as the backend. Developed and tested new modules that allowed a variety of enhancements to the drupal framework. Including a number of services and performance tweaks. Built in several video enhancements for flash movies that allowed for streaming videos within a “movie” like appearance where you could invite your friends to watch with you.

Small B2B Telecommunications company, Responsible for development of automated systems that allowed for communication between switches and php based monitoring applications. Wrote several applications that monitored switch activity and load, redirecting calls as loads required. Also automated switch error handling that would reroute calls from one switch to another and take it down for maintenance. In many cases this maintenance was done by php scripts that I wrote. Wrote several command line php scripts that would monitor and maintain switches and routers.
