I set up K for Komedy while at university to raise money for charity. After the initial success, I decided to expand the brand out to different venues and ventures. As a solo entrepreneur, I grew this business from one monthly student night to three professional comedy nights running bimonthly in both London and Bristol. This involved organising, curating, producing, promoting and hosting each event, creating a brand/product that audience members always returned to.
