Reporting to the Head of Digital, I delivered the entire international digital commercial revenue stream across all Met Office digital platforms. Managing a team encompassing all advertising, sponsorship, sports and leisure business. • Developed the roadmap and strategy for the Digital Commercial and Sports and Leisure business areas. After leaving Tectrade I became self employed, delivering new business opportunities to Data Domain a data de-duplication hardware vendor. This role has a 100% commission structure with company supplying me with potential companies to target, with the aim of organising meetings at an IT management level.

As a Client Manager I had total responsibility for customers from initial contact, through to completion of the first deal and subsequent account management tasks to ensure ongoing business. My customer base was a dual split between SMB (small, medium business) with clients including Alliance Boots (Unichem & Moss Pharmacy), McLaren Formula1 and VT Group. My public sector business was primarily based around the police during my first year after which I became the dedicated Tectrade Client Manager for Police and Criminal Justice, engaging long-term contracts within Gloucestershire Constabulary, Dyfed Powys Police and Kent Constabulary.

After a successful assessment with Pareto Law, I was interviewed and accepted at Tectrade as a new business executive. Utilising a number of different vendors Tectrade deliver consolidated storage, centralised backup & recovery and comprehensive disaster recovery solutions. In this role I was responsible for profiling accounts, creating awareness of Tectrade within defined companies and organising initial business meetings between customers for our client management team. As a New Business Executive, I was expected to fully understand the business and technological benefits that our solutions provided based around various vendors including; IBM, NetAPP, HP, Symantec, NexSAN and Compellent. During this time I succeeded in winning six of the nine monthly incentives for the most meetings made within the whole sales and new business team on leaving in September 2008 still held the record for the most meetings made in a month.
