Client's server patch levels were severely out of date and had not been previously managed. Project was stalling due to client concerns and roadblocks within delivery teams.Worked with client to overcome concerns to deliver fully patched environment across approx 400 servers whilst also handing over management system to delivery teams to maintain currency.Additionally held Transition and Transformation Infrastructure Manager position responsible for managing other workstream project managers in the delivery and completion of all the remaining deliverables to enable final client sign-off and programme closure.

Regained control of the Up/Down monitoring agent deployment and agreed handover criteria with operations teams to ensure clear and agreed project endpoint. Worked with systems management team to then deploy middleware monitoring elements, developing bespoke solution in one instance to meet client requirements. Re-worked the plan and formally agreed new end date (PCR) with all stakeholders.Brought project in on time to revised plan date.

Retained as Project Manager for Implementation of Enhanced DR for an extended scope of applications including telephony systems. Worked with Architect, Technical teams and the client to capture requirements and translate into realistic and deliverable solutions. Completed to timescale, culminating in a successful isolated DR test of the Core supporting Infrastructure and the extended scope applications.

Project Manager & Test Manager for Delivery of Enhanced DR capability for clients top five applications and the supporting core infrastructure. Worked alongside team of Project Managers, Architect and Technicians to build an isolated DR Environment capable of desktop images, core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP etc) and in scope applications recovery. Additional Test Manager role entailed working with Application Technical contacts and business representatives to formulate test cases to ensure the validity of the environment.Completed on time and culminating in a successful isolated DR test of the Core supporting Infrastructure and all five applications with only minor defects found.

Woking/London/Warwick

Transformation Project Manager for implementation of the hardware and software for the Internet Security Services - Intrusion Protection Systems required as part of a programme of deliverables for the London Road User Charging (LRUC) system to enable go live on the 1st of November 2009. Personally managed the installation of Network Intrusion Protection Systems (NIPS) devices, server builds and deployment to four separate Data Centres, producing patch book, implementation diagrams etc. Personally installed NIPS inline between external and internal Firewalls without impact to service. (Whilst not live, environment under Command Centre control with numerous projects dependent on infrastructure availability to reach the deadline).Project completed in a very short space of time to allow go-live to proceed despite some major obstacles including missing server components requiring escalations to expedite required components.
