I am a queer, nonbinary, disabled interdisciplinary artist, author, and teacher. My artforms and media include textiles (spinning, knitting, weaving, dyeing, pattern design, sewing), bodypaint, dance (improvisation, aerials, choreography, and performance), and other odds and ends as needed; writing includes speculative fiction and poetry, and the occasional essay. I teach my arts, as well as teaching on gender, sexuality, and disability with an intersectional, social lens.Recent publications of my poetry and prose include Kaleidoscope, Strange Horizons, and Liminality magazines; collection in Transcendent 2 from Lethe Press (starred Publishers Weekly, Locus Recommended List, Lambda Literary finalist); and monthly poems released with Patreon support. My work often explores questions of embodiment and selfhood, with shapeshifters, robots, and creator archetypes, as well as plenty of queer love. I have danced with Murmurations Dance immersive site work "When Women Were Birds", Lida Winfield, and Heidi Latsky's "GIMP", among others; their independent evening work "One, Two" showed locally and internationally (Let's Dance International Festival, UK). Most recently, my installation Enter the Void combined dance, poetry, paint, and sound design (2018). I am currently developing new solo performance work for ground and aerials.Questions and potential collaboration ideas are always welcome - I strive to be professionally interruptible and approachable, especially for other multiply-marginalized artists/authors/creators.
