My day varies, from mulching, digging, planting, cleaning, and watering the seasonal and annual displays.I enjoy spending time observing how the plants and animals adapt to the urban environment, watching the way that buildings and roads affect the ecology. The mission focused on supporting women and children through various programs, including: - Micro-finance loans to women owned businesses across León.- Providing Saturday classes to a primary school in the small town of el Tamarindo.- Collaboratively developed a chicken breeding program to provide a locally managed protein source to tackle malnourishment. In an effort to mitigate food insecurity, we built a chicken coop at the community center where eggs could be harvested and the community members could manage and distribute chickens for communal commercial development.
