I am currently a sophomore in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and I'm working toward a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Finance and a collateral in Supply Chain Management. Communicating amongst coworkers and customers is a strength of mine. In my part-time job working as a courtesy clerk for Kroger, I enjoyed talking to customers with any concerns or complaints that they had and helping them find a solution. I also used my communication skills to teach newer employees certain aspects of the job.My career goal is to work in the finance side of the automotive industry. I have always been fascinated with how car companies and manufacturers deal with the financial and sales aspects of their businesses. I want to work in a job that has a lot of face-to-face interaction between colleagues and customers. I also have an interest in the supply chain management industry so I would not be opposed to learning more about those opportunities, especially in regards to its impact on the automotive industry.
