My role within the UWE Bristol Consumer Advice Initiative provided me with an opportunity to undertake Pro-Bono legal work by providing clients with advice relating to a wide variety of consumer issues presented by them. This role involved me conducting legal research under the supervision of a Senior Solicitor at UWE Bristol and researching the relevant law relating to the respective client's issue. Furthermore, I had to utilise a number of communication skills to ensure I presented my research to clients in a coherent and concise manner so they could understand and decide how to act upon the advice given. This role was also undetaken alongside my 4th year studies meaning effective time management between meeting assignment deadlines and conducting research for this role were strongly utilised.

In my role as a Product Engineer at PALL Corporation, I had to ensure my compliance with strict and up-to-date policies to ensure both employee safety and customer satisfaction were fulfilled. I was also required to complete legal paperwork on a daily basis to ensure traceability and accountability was present through the manufacturing process. This role also provided me with an insight into several administrative jobs within an office environment. This position also required me to work alternating shift patterns which demanded performing tasks with high energy and enthusiasm across shifts spanning 10 to 12 hours, including holidays and weekends.
