- Working as part of a team to maintain the parkland landscape, of over 1000 acres, within the grounds of Boughton house. - Maintaining such a landscape requires each member to adapt to a variety of jobs which are rarely the same from one day to the next. - My main areas of work consist of mowing (both pedestrian and ride on mowing); strimming, pruning and hedge cutting, as well as maintaining bodies of water; all using specialised machinery. - These tasks are required to be completed to high standards in order to reach the standards of the Duke and the company. - Initially I was employed part-time in this position throughout University and now, after 3 years at Boughton, I have agreed a full-time contract for the foreseeable future.
