I am a final year International Relations student dedicated to understanding the world systems that shape the lives of regular people all of the globe for the purpose of bringing effective and meaningful change. In my studies I have earned my place on the Dean's List of Excellence twice and I also received the Government Department Young Scholar Award.Aside from my classes I've been heavily involved on campus through engagement with my department, the Student's Union, and the Model United Nations society. I currently serve as the Undergraduate Social Sciences Representative on the SU Council, and I have worked on multiple election campaigns for my colleague's bids for elected roles within the Students' Union. As the President of the Model UN society I led the committee in putting on high quality events that earned us the Societies Gold Standard as well as the award for Most Active Society.Back at home I've had the pleasure of producing and presenting informative media programs for the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation aimed at raising awareness around areas such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals and historical conservation. I look forward to using the many skills I've gained from my academic, extra-curricular, and professional experiences to have a positive impact on the world and my community.
