This was a consultancy project that aimed at improving positioning performance of satellite navigation systems in difficult environments, such as dense urban areas. I worked as a navigation systems researcher, developing test-software in C++ and Matlab programming languages.

I worked on a European Space Agency (ESA) consultancy contract, which was conducted as a collaboration between University College London, University of Leicester and BAE Systems. The contract was for a feasibility study into a planetary navigation and communications system. The system was developed for manned and robotic missions to both Mars and the Moon in the timeframe 2020 to 2040. I conducted a feasibility study into using odometers to help manned and unmanned rovers navigate on the surface of the Moon and on Mars.
