Responsible for leading agency to meet strategic goals and direction in a myriad of areas that impact the effects of poverty in our region. Upon becoming oriented with the agency and programs I was able to lead a review of what programs were offered, and have since (through a Board-involved process) helped the agency to center on Family & Child Development as the core; with two Strategic Commitments- "Stabilization" & "Empowerment". As a "ROMA Trainer" and practitioner, we have also completed a comprehensive community assessment process on a regular basis, and are continually engaging with our partners, staff, and public/customers to identify whether current efforts are meeting targets and outcomes as well as to identify additional needs/gaps in services that we can assist to fill (whether directly or as a partner/change agent.)I am also directly responsible for all Child Development Programs as the Child Development Director (Early Head Start, Head Start and Arkansas Better Chance) for 359 slots of care in 6 counties at 17 locations. This means I create and manage the budgets and oversee the programs to insure they are meeting all required regulations (programmatic, state, etc.) as well as setting the tone for ongoing program excellence.

Responsible for assisting with external funding search, submittal of proposals, and creation and management of the Grants Development System for the MSU WP Campus.

Responsible for marketing, recruitment, and facilitation for a 6 month long course on Family Development and how to integrate the principles into work with families.

Nonprofit Management- Writing of contracts and project narratives, implementation and documentation of Community Projects. Lead Strategic Planning process, including comprehensive Needs Assessment. Energy Assistance Supervisor for three staff, and oversight of program outcomes. Member of committees and Professional Alliance groups to improve efficiency of the network and processes.
