As Project Manager and Technical Lead, I successfully lead a team of 5 engineers conducting a critical evaluation and engineering analysis of a bolted joint interface used by Atkinson Vos to connect Camper-boxes to a Mercedes Unimog's anti-torsion subframe. This project was a collaborative project between Atkinson Vos and Lancaster University.My key responsibilities included:- Determining the technical direction of the project- Conducting and supervising physical testing and simulation-based approaches to system performance evaluations- Utilising a variety of Project Management and Operations Management tools and techniques to ensure successful project delivery- Conducting weekly team progress reviews and providing strategic direction to address any technical challenges- Conducting regular individual reviews with team members to effectively manage workload- Facilitating seamless communication between stakeholders- Spearheading all purchasing and supply chain responsibilities- Implementing a Systems Design Approach to generate innovative solutions, with new concepts being evaluated against the same performance criteria used to evaluate the current system
