With a background in elections research and data analysis, I currently work in a team of 8 at a political technology startup called PoliMonitor. My main interest is in the way in which social media has changed political systems both in the UK and abroad, and how we can use Big Data to enact positive change in society - disrupting traditional lobbying methods and making politics more accessible to all. I have observed a number of elections, including the controversial 1 Oct referendum in the region of Catalonia in Spain, where I also worked as a researcher. Passionate about Central Asia, the environment, democracy and elections, in no particular order.
