Underwriting insurance for a range of legal indemnities for residential & commercial properties up to a value of 3 million pounds. I was trained to assist with the team’s incoming finances and the preparation of commission payments for intermediaries. I also managed data figures for the top 20 online firms to enable the team to easily highlight fluctuations between payments on a monthly basis. I set up and maintained numerous team spreadsheets to allow for more efficient and useful data storage. I also amalgamated and updated both my team and the technical underwriting team’s websites to become a more effective data storage and communication system.

Duties included: Retiring Software, Populating and updating an approved product list and running software reports. I would analyse the reports using pivot tables to determine installation figures and usage. I would then raise and progress the software through a retirement’s process and upon completion would prepare them to be archived. Whilst in this position I also ran reports to ascertain whether the actual users of particular software were compliant with the licenses held, collated customer order information and organised it to give useful and relevant summary data. I also carried out other advanced Excel based tasks as and when required.
