Asset Artist
During my time at Clear Angle, I worked as part of the asset team, working predominantly to deliver FACs shapes and digi-doubles for clients within the games industry. This meant going all the way through the pipeline, from scan clean-up, aligning FACs, wrapping, sculpting, and texturing, all according to clients specs which changed depending on the project - allowing me to become more comfortable with rapid shifts in workflows and levels of detail required. The main part of the work was aligning and wrapping FACs shapes processed from Clear Angle's scanning rig. I managed to build up rapid pace on these tasks over my time and was turning over 6-9 heads a day, most without the need for notes or changes. I was also given the chance to work on a, now cancelled, advertising campaign where we were to make a digi-double of two sports shoes. I was responsible for cleaning up the geo and texturing one of the trainers, using Mari to project from scan images. This was the first time I had worked on something like this so the experience gained was invaluable and the pressure of a tight deadline pushed me to adapt and learn quickly on the job.
