I am a designer that works in many different areas at any given time. I believe that principle and skill can -and should- be exchanged readily between traditionally separate fields of design. In this practice, a wider spectrum of potential can be realized in the production and planning of the artifacts and amenities that surround us as we live, work, and play. Regardless of scale or medium, I employ a design process focused on the development and execution of sound first principles in my endeavor to bring about an effective and beautiful solution. My work towards this goal includes winning designs in local, national, and international competitions. I have also been featured in several temporary and traveling exhibitions, and have been published in several books and web outlets focused on design.As Partner and one of the Principal Architects at Kersting Architecture I help run our award winning studio.
