Working as part of academic and professional services senior management teams. Coaching and supporting leaders on complex issues relating to all aspects of personnel management. Developing and leading the strategic People Plans for the College of Humanities and the Impact, Innovation and Business / Research Services directorates. Ensuring that commercial objectives are supported through appropriate talent and performance management, workforce and succession planning. Leading the people agenda through large scale change exercises, including the complete restructuring of the University’s IT service and Student Recruitment function.

Operating within the electronics entertainment and IT industry, I was responsible for the delivery of the Group's HR service. The Group had operations across 7 UK sites, Ireland, Australia, India and UAE and our clients included SONY, Acer, Oracle, Netgear, Gateway and Sharp. I reported to the Head of Operations and CEO. Key business imperatives I was responsible for included:Design of in-house HRISOngoing recruitment and induction of staff within production, warehousing, call centre and administration business units. Management of due diligence, TUPE etc related to M&A activity.Workforce forecasting and appropriate business area restructuring.Coaching of managers and team leaders to encourage and improve team capability and performance.Ensuring first line support to management regarding legislative policy.Management of high-volume employee relations case work. Liaison and negotiation with workforce and Trade Union representatives. Design and implementation of a "cost neutral"​ bespoke Employee Benefits package.Project management of "curve-ball" occurrences This role requires a high awareness and appreciation of the complex relationships that exist between stakeholders across all parts of the operation, as well as the commercial processes and financial principles under which the fund operates.
