My role is to provide technical support and guidance in project design and product use, provide estimates based on architectural plans and drawings, and build relationships with customers.

Assistant language teacher in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, Japan employed by the Matsuyama City Board of Education. I worked alongside native Japanese English teachers in public school classrooms. My primary role was to provide native language and lesson planning support. I divided my time between one junior high school and two elementary schools.

ACI Institute is an SAT prep school for English learners from Asia. I taught middle/high school students as part of an SAT prep course. Instruction was based on material provided by the school, but lesson planning was all done individually. This position required a high level of commitment, patience, an understanding of student needs, as well as knowledge of English grammar and prose.

Sustainable Magnolia is a neighborhood organization with the goal of promoting recycling and composting through community awareness. I developed and implemented, along with other interns, an outreach program designed to increase composting practice and awareness in multi-family housing units.
