Provided production support of PCBAs with troubleshooting and failure analysis by ten technicians and two rework operators. Drove the development teams in the creation of new processes for the first generation of products using perpendicular recording.

Entry level engineer promoted four times over ten years to increasing levels of responsibility leading to the level of Department Manager with total accountability for incoming parts test and inspection, PCBA test and troubleshooting, In-Circuit Test development, power supply test and troubleshooting, final disk drive product testing, and quality system development and maintenance. Total headcount included twenty test technicians, three supervisors, and seven test engineers.
