The Client Solutions team was set up to assist the BBC World News and BBC.com global advertising sales teams.My job is to manage the creation of exciting and dynamic commercial content through my team, whilst finding innovative ways to meet the clients commercial and editorial needs on broadcast, online and mobile platforms.As manager of the commercial side of the Client Solutions team I have a number of responsibilities:• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients such as Rolex, DuPont, HSBC, Intel, Coutts, Jaguar and Longines. • Maintaining strong relationships with media agencies such as Mindshare, Zenith, Carat and OMD.• Managing my team to answer briefs correctly, meeting the client’s needs, whilst maintaining the high standards of BBC World News.• Managing commercial and editorial productions both internally and externally, ensuring delivery and objectives are achieved for every project. This can mean overseeing projects for as little as two weeks to as long as six months, including pre-planning and post production. • Forming new contacts within the production industry, whilst working closely with a handpicked selection of production houses.• Coordinating compliance and legal processes for both TV and online platforms.• Financial budgeting, planning and forecasting. Working within the strict guidelines of BBC Worldwide I am working with budgets as little as $5000 to as large as $1,000,000, whilst always delivering quality creative work true to the BBC and clients values.

My responsibilities as Production Executive included:• Answering briefs correctly and effectively, whilst meeting the client’s needs, and maintaining the high standards of BBC World News.• Liaising directly with the client, listening to feedback and adapting the brief and creative when necessary. • Designing and preparing storyboards, scripts and mood boards. • Hiring and managing producers and crews to fulfil our creative needs.• Editing commercials and any other commercial content as required.
