I have had a vast array of positions in the healthcare setting, and this has allowed me to develop and experience a multitude of experience at numerous levels in the nursing profession. I have learned to provide quality care, but I have also acquired the knowledge to effectively manage my time, improve my organizational skills, improve my critical thinking skills and taking on a leadership role by managing a nursing unit. All of these experiences and qualities have molded me into the nurse I am today. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I can utilize the qualities and experiences that I have acquired throughout my nursing career to provide excellent and high-quality care to patients as well as being a valuable asset to the nursing profession and any health care organization that I will be affiliated with. Nurse practitioners are visible and present across the continuum of healthcare services, advocating for and caring for patients through many facets of health prevention, education, maintenance, and restoration, and it is my desire to contribute and make a difference in healthcare.
