As a Resident Counselor: (July 1984-Dec. 1990) provided assistance to families in the Middlebrook community and the scattered sites to access public and private social and self sufficiency services.As the Director of the Family Investment Center: (Dec.1990-Oct.1999) provided programmatic activities, through collaboration of private and public agencies and organizations, services which led to self sufficiency for low and moderate income resident participants.As Youth Counselor: (Oct. 1999-present) provided educational, cultural, and recreational activities to youth to increase self esteem and awareness.

As an Occupancy Specialist, I certified, and recertified applicants and residents of the city's public housing populations to determine the rental amounts based on HUD and government regulations.

As a Behavioral Science Specialist, I was responsible for discharge planning for the psychiatric patients at Walter Reed Army Medial Center. In doing so, I provided social services support to the psychiatric ward staff with psycho-therapy groups, and made contacts in the communities to assist in the transition from military life to civilian life for servicemen and women being discharged. Transferred to the Academy of Health Sciences, Ft Sam Houston in San Antonio, Tex. Responsible for instruction (91G2H) of various subject matter to trainees who would obtained the MOS of Behavioral Science Specialist (91G).Decorated Soldier obtaining the rank of Specialist 5 (E5).
