Responsible for 12-16 In-Market Sales Managers who work virtually in major markets within the geographic region. The position entails implementing sales plans, monitoring measurable objectives and holding sales people accountable for initiatives and growth. I provide accurate and reliable forecasting and consistently communicate with the team through scheduled on-on-one meetings to assist in overcoming customer challenges with the objective to close business. Travel requirements are a minimum of two trips per year, per Sales Manager to conduct face-to-face meetings with targeted clients to gain market share. Planned and executed team retreats, customer FAM trips, and all aspects of travel, while at the same time developed and cultivated the Insurance Market. On-going training to members of the sales team was a vital element in my everyday tasks. Played a key role in the progress and development of additional convention space at Caesars Palace. Maintained extensive guest interaction with emphasis on a proactive approach to ensuring a positive experience and tactfully defusing sensitive or volatile situations. Liaison to all department heads at Caesars Palace. Consistently met and exceeded quarterly goal of 32.5 million in room revenue.
