I oversaw operations (claims, enrollment, billing and customer service), IT, provider contracting and relations, sales, marketing, accounting, finance, actuary and underwriting departments. ✔M&A: Led M&A activity and due diligence with support of investment banking firm Houlihan and Lokey, marketing to all major health insurers including United Health.

As co-founder of a startup firm, I gained foundational experience in new business development and providing consulting, audit, and accounting expertise for the health insurance companies with Medicare cost contracts with HCFA.

BDA was a regional, niche accounting firm holding the national contract with the Health Care Financing Administration (Medicare) to perform cost report audits on behalf of the agency. I specialized in health insurance cost report audits providing audit leadership and becoming a nationally recognized expert in this space.
