I grew up as the oldest of four children in a military family. My father was in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years.My family and I lived in California,Minnesota,North Dakota, and Texas as part of my father’s duty assignments. Growing up in a military had a profound impacted on my outlook upon life. I learned early on how to adapt to quickly changing environments, people and places. The ability to adapt to constant change in the areas of my personal life, business relationships , and entrepreneurial endeavors. I have used the communication skills and goal setting practices in order to take action in cultivating relationships successfully. I pride myself in being a lifelong learner and a leader.I have 30+ years of experience in the transportation industry. I have been an owner -operator, dispatcher, and company driver.I gained experience in marketing and merchandising in the retail grocery business as a manager with SuperValu/Cub Foods Atanta,GA. I also was a General Merchandise Buyer for nearly 4 years for SuperValu in their Atlanta,GA Division.I have served as a consultant and freelance marketing agent for established, as well as up-and-coming motorsports teams to aquire partnerships/sponsorships for funding in order to be competitive in their respective classes. I have always been interested in new technology and social media as well as digital marketing. I was fortunate to be mentored by successful digital marketers. I took on a role as a social media/marketing representative for River Cities Speedway "The World Famous Legendary Bull Ring" in Grand Forks, ND in 2015. I administered social media for weekly racing programs and reported and posted all "Trackside News" and other platforms.Outside of work I enjoy family and friends and many forms of motorsports especially dirt track racing, freshwater and saltwater fishing when possible. I currently reside in Grand Forks,ND with wife of 36 years. I have grown children and loves being a grandpa.
