A former CEO with a passion for innovation, Barbara Todd founded Renaissance Asset Management (RAM), an equity hedge fund, at the age of 26. For the next 15 years, she grew it into a formidable presence on Wall Street.An early adopter of market technologies and employee-first, flexible work policies, the forward-thinking, innovative culture Barbara built a RAM became a key driver of growth in an intensely competitive environment. RAM’s market-leading team and operating infrastructure was ahead of its time, including newly introduced automated trading, clearing and position tracking platforms to monitor operations.In addition to leading RAM, Barbara has served on several boards, including that of Monmouth Medical Center and the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New Jersey. During her board tenure, both institutions initiated operational transformation focusing on patient-centric and profit-focused structuring, building improved operational capabilities and organizational capacity as the healthcare industry experienced dramatic shifts.Barbara has traveled extensively, visiting all 7 continents, and is a budding amateur photographer. An avid fly fisherwoman and patron of the arts, Barbara has served on the boards of the Kennedy Center for the Arts in Washington, DC, and the Henrys Fork Foundation, which works to preserve the watersheds of the Henry's Fork and South Fork Snake River.
