I am known for being a self-proclaimed 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐠𝐞𝐞𝐤 who anticipates potential obstacles and risks to creatively problem solve driving process standards and improvements throughout the supply chain.During my career, I have redesigned an entire supply chain methodology that decreased inventory by over $1M and increased turns from 10 to 13 while controlling overhead.Leveraging my negotiating skills, I achieved more than $1M in savings or cost avoidance year-over-year, through negotiations of contracts, including 30% freight cost reduction.As a strategic and authentic leader, I love to learn and be a catalyst for change, and 2020 has been all about change! Both challenging but also very productive. Currently managing a remote team of 14 direct and 13 indirect employees including managers and supervisors, has shown me that we can be successful as a team if we truly care for one another and work together as a team. An example of this teamwork, we put up over $1.8 million in cost savings in 2020 taking advantage of the low commodity prices due to the economic environment during the initial lockdowns for COVID.
