Residential Electrician's Assistant - new construction and remodel

As a contract employee of Westmont Yard Indoor Sports Complex I managed the Reball Program, an activity similar to paintball but with non-marking rubber balls instead of paintballs. I oversaw a staff of four contract employees with the primary duty of ensuring the safety of all participants. I also had responsibility with identifying opportunities for program growth and designing activities to attract participants.Other primary duties included:-Maintenance of all markers and equipment.-Inventory control to assure a ready supply of replacement parts.-Scheduling adequate staff to ensure the safety of participants.-Ensuring customers are satisfied with their experience and feel safe.It is worth noting that after two years of running the Reball Program, Westmont Yard offered me a position on their staff, which I had to unfortunately turn down because it would have interfered with my other job. The main goals on the Chamber's Workplace Initiatives program was to help Chamber member companies gain a competitive advantage in thier people practices. I achieved this by attending Chicago chapter of the Society of Human Resource Professionals events and networking with HR professionals to identify the challenges they were facing at their company. I then took those critical issues to the Workplace Excellence Committee, a team made up of representatives of Chamber member companies, who developed educational programs to address those issues. I also coordinated the Right Workplace Award, which awarded companies that found innovative ways to engage thier workforce in order to meet challenges or opportunies, then hosted an award ceremony highlighting the best practices. I used my connections at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce to help identify "pain points" that Chicago companies were experiencing that the SHRP Programs Committee could address. I also used my personal contacts through the Chamber to identify topic experts who could speak about best practices in human capital management at SHRP events.
