Currently, I work as an Associate at Technomics. I am eager to learn more every day and throughly enjoy the rigorous and though provoking work. I will continue to grow and learn more hard skills all whilst getting hands on experience with clients. My day to day work involves, dash-boarding, data engineering, cost analysis, and clear communication. Each day I am excited to continue growing and learn more as a part of the PDP program.I recently completed a Master’s in Applied Economics (Computational Track) at Georgetown University. With this program I improved my economic background and enhanced my ability to critically think and apply my education to industry. The program was heavily quantitative and I am improved my statistical modeling abilities and explored new paths of economics. In 2023, I graduated from Skidmore College with Honors in Economics and a minor in computer science and business. Throughout my time at Skidmore I honed my problem solving abilities through my economics and computer science work. My business minor complimented this well with accounting and other business courses that promoted group work and collaboration that I am excited to implement in any work I do in the future. My passions lie in a data analytics role and I am interested in microeconomics research. Specifically human capital and sports economics, which is what I wrote my senior thesis on. I wrote a 40 page thesis regarding the optimal human capital variables and strategies in Women's golf. In the coming years, I hope to enter the labor force and explore these passions with likeminded and passionate individuals.I most recently worked as an accounting intern at Wilcenski and Pleat Law where I prepared accounting summaries and schedules based on investments and bank statements for clients on an individual basis. On a daily basis, I would create 20+ pages of reports for clients and lawyers to examine and submit to courts along with the 40 page accountings and financial projections. There were often tight, inflexible, deadlines with filing dates that required clear communication and time management. This helped implement so much of my previous education and improve my communication skills. The work taxed my quantitative skills and improve the practical application of so much of the data skills that I accumulated. It was exciting work that helped people and truly provided a sense of accomplishment on a daily basis. This work helped show me I want to not just work a job, but to make a difference and produce meaningful work.

I prepared accounting schedules and summaries for clients by examining bank statements and financial records. With this data I would create a government approved accounting of first or third party supplemental needs trusts. To complement the accounting I also drafted and prepared 30 plus pages of explanatory and informational documents for the interested parties. This work went through an extensive review process that required clear and concise communication about decisions made on the accounting. I would frequently have to engage with colleagues to problem solve different accounts. Finally, I submitted the accounting to departments of social services, clients, and trustees.

For two years, I was the CIT director, where I created programs to educate teenagers about professional skills as well as how to be better counselors. I had a group of 20 teenagers whom I trained on a daily basis. I made schedules for them each week which included assignments, and projects. Also, I reviewed their performance with them and set goals for their future work. My daily work included engaging with parents about registration and any possible concerns they had. This role enhanced my my creative thinking skills as every day new situations would arrive that required quick and unique solutions, especially when I had little support around. Before this, I was a head counselor where I would lead a group of 5 other counselors and communicate with the administration on a daily basis. I directly managed 30 campers whom I would take on field trips and care for all day. I directed the assistant counselors and ensure safety at all times which honed my foresight and looking at situations with different perspectives to ensure I planned for all possible issues and dealt with them ahead of time. When I began working at the Ridgefield Recreation Center I was an assistant counselor where I ensured children had an enjoyable and safe time whilst at camp and followed the lead of a head counselor whilst also planning and leading activities for the campers. I would often have small groups of 5 campers under my supervision.

I prepared food for the kitchen staff as well as followed strict safety protocols to keep myself, my colleagues, and the food safe. My roles included preparing food or washing cooking equipment in the prep kitchen. I would also prepare food in customer-facing roles, where I engaged with students and staff of the school to prepare their individual meals, all whilst catering to their specific dietary needs. Every shift, I would serve 100+ customers which taught me flexibility and improved my flexibility and understanding as there the customers often had unique requests that I would cater to.

I communicated with parents regarding their children on a daily basis as well as maintained safety and fun for a large group of children after school.
