I was employed at Huntington Super Pawn and Jewelry while working with the buying arm of DeBeers in the USA before they closed in April of 2019. I currently work as the Staff Gemologist with the purpose of taking all jewelry purchases to the many steps to be resold to a new client. I have had the pleasure of learning about all sorts of items to be resold and new aspects of negotiation I was unfamiliar with. Specifically I have learned about identification of high end luxury purses that I had before been ignorant.

An amazing opportunity working with clients through traveling buying events within the USA. We evaluated and purchased client's gold and diamonds with the function of re-purposing it to take apart and resell at a profit. A lot of great opportunity for client care and reputation growth from successful jewelry purchasing events.

My first exposure to the jewelry industry after my graduation from GIA (Gemological Institute of America). Over a decade of pricing, valuation, personal property appraisals for insurance and estates. I got my membership with the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA) in my time at World Gemological Services, and was able to manage the appraisers that worked with the company after getting the credentials to do so. It was here I gained my extensive experience with not just gems and jewelry, but with watches. While I was at WGS, I personally appraised over 10,000 different items for personal property.
